What is a Contingency Based Matter?
When you have a
Matter you know will be contingency based, upon creation you can set that up.
Once the Matter has been created all Time Entries related to this Matter will come up as No Charge, Don't Show.
Once the settlement has been awarded, you can deposit the full amount into your Trust Account as a New Retainer and manually make the percentage calculations.
You can then write Trust checks for the amounts that are owed to both you and your client.
