Are you tired of having to organize your emails into subfolders for each client or Matter? We have a solution. In Zola Suite, you can relate emails to a Matter in bulk.
First go to to the Email Section in Zola Suite: you can do this from anywhere in Zola Suite by clicking on the Email Section on the left panel. Once you have done this, a new tab in your web browser will open with the full view and functionality of the Email Section.
Once the Email Section has opened up, click on the box to the left of the email to select it. Select all the emails that you would like associate with a particular Matter. Note: when you have selected an email, the email will turn blue and the box will be filled in.
After selecting the emails, the preview window of the email will update. In the preview you will see the number of emails that you have selected to relate to the Matter. You can select the Matter in the drop-down menu.
You can also move these emails to another folder at the same time. For instance if you wanted to keep your inbox clean you can send the email to another folder such as "Read Emails".
Once the Email is assigned to the Matter, a duplicate can be found in the Communications tab of the Matter in Zola Suite. You can then delete the email from your inbox as the record has been stored in Zola Suite.
*Deleted emails are sent to your Trash folder for archiving.
