How Does the Verification Process Work for a Client Registering for Caseway?
Zola uses multi-factor authentication to ensure maximum security when sharing documents. Therefore an SMS (cell phone) number as well as an email address is required the first time you share documents with an outside user. When you elect to give a client or colleague access to documents, he or she will receive an email from Zola asking the individual to click on a link within the email. Your client will be told to expect a text message with a code which must be entered.
Once this two step process has been completed, the client can choose a username and password which can be used to access the account in the future. The username and password selected by the client will be encrypted so your team will not be able to see this information.
