What Are Sub-Tasks?

Certain tasks, like filing a bankruptcy petition or preparing a contract for the sale of a home, have a number of steps which must be completed. Subtasks allow you to break up a parent task into more granular steps. 



As you complete the subtasks you can check them off from the task grid.

If you have a task with a set of subtasks you complete on a regular basis, you can setup a Task Template for it. Learn how to do this in our article on creating Task Templates.
