Why restricted users to Matters are able to view Accounting data?
By default Zola is set up so Matter Permissions do not apply to Accounting data.
If you would like to limit who sees Accounting for all Matters in your firm, you can change a user's Permission level to Staff. This will limit their access so they do not have access to Firm Settings and Accounting data.
- Simply navigate to Firm Settings
- Click on Users
- Select and edit the user
- Select Staff from the Permission Level drop down
